We want to do right by our kids, but sometimes we aren’t aware of our impact. For example, we might think we’re reassuring them, when actually, they feel suffocated. Or, we might think we’re giving them more freedom and they feel abandoned. What they’re actually thinking, feeling and need is so often different from what we perceive.
As an adoptive parent, you can’t always trust your intuition.
Whether you’re the adoptive parent of a child, teen or young adult, this group is for you! It’s the community that you’ve needed!
We focus on the issues that matter in your family. Our topics this year have included – deepening your understanding, unrescuing and identity. Opportunity to ask questions, learn from the experiences of others, share resources and build community.
Programming includes monthly video informational sessions via Facebook Live and monthly in-depth Q & A sessions which will occur from Sept – June and accessible through the summer. Each Facebook Live will be available on the page throughout the year.
One-time fee of $500.

My son/daughter is a young adult? Would I still find this helpful?
Yes! There’s still plenty to cover!Issues. Issues like launching, college, career, relationships, self-esteem are critical. Even though the teen years are behind you, the young adult years can often be challenging in unexpected ways. Our content will be relevant and important in these years.
Do I need to be present for the Facebook Live sessions?
Absolutely not. The monthly informational sessions and in-depth Q & A will be available on the page to view at your convenience!
