two Korean boysI feel compelled to write about this because there’s no place like KAAN.  This will be my third year speaking at KAAN, Korean-American Adoptee Network Conference and my first year on the advisory council.  There’s no substitute for being with people like you!  It’s something that is missing in most of our lives, to actually blend in.  This is good.  Our views may differ, but we all speak the language of adoption.  I take what I’ve learned with me when it’s done.  To be immersed in the Korean-Adoption community, just for a little while can enrich our every day lives, whether we’re veterans to these issues or just starting out.
